Salvation Message
Firstly, before you understand the concept of salvation, it is worth understanding the meaning of Sin. Sin is any immoral act considered to be a transgression against God`s law. The bible states in Romans 3:23 that,"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Sins separates us from the God our creator and this has consequences. Romans 6:23 teaches us that "The wages of Sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". Jesus is the Son of God who lived his life on earth in the perfect will of God. His death on the Calvary cross became an atonement for our sins. He died for all our sins to reunite us with God our father!
This leads us to question, Is there really life after death? Yes and this life is endless! No turning back!Eternity is either eternal life enjoyed in Heaven or everlasting death suffered in the Lake of Fire, which many call Hell. Since man sins grievously and consistently, God devised a Solution! a plan due to his great love for us for an atonement of our sins through Christ Jesus once and for all if we repent and have a relationship with him. This plan can be found in the infamous John 3:16, " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.This means, believing in the Lord Jesus, confessing with your mouth and accepting him in your heart as Lord and Saviour of your life makes you saved! It is as simple as that.
Anyone who repents from sin and obeys the commandments and teachings of Jesus through reading the bible, lives a life of holiness and righteousness becomes saved and will be taken up with Jesus in the Rapture to enjoy eternal life with God in Heaven. Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out....."
